Thin white worm and no didn't have phone handy to get a pic. I hadn't wormed the new birds yet as they are just now about 8 weeks old. I have a wormer called Wazine 17. Says it's for chickens, turkey, and swine. Dosing info is kinda tough to figure out as it's meant for larger flock and measure per 100 birds. How do I break it down for like 15-20? Divide it? Also his crop has went down considerably. I have helped him empty it by massage and holding him head down. Seems to be helping. He's more active and eating and drinking good. I also added grit again as well as a vitamin/probiotic supplement to water.

wazine is only good for round worms, so it may not help depending on the type of worm

Hmm I'd say more like the roundworm only smaller. Was dead and pulled apart when I tried to move it for a better look. Man the things we do to keep our birds healthy and happy. I'm planning to go get a different de wormer so I can cover as many kinds as possible with single medication. Instead of having multiple meds with multiple doses.

TWEENS ARG! Well, one of my birds has figured out how to open a latch hook.
The 8 week old poults got out of their shelter prior to indoctrination... We just put six back in and as we were walking back to the house I have three more out in an area hard for humans to reach safely... Hoping they come back down as it gets dark as they are exactly where I last saw the coyote. Oh, and they have figured out that they fit through the fence in the upper 3rd and stretched it to the point where I now have to add new poles. If I can only get them through another week or so alive, they'll be fine On the good news front, those who stayed inside the fence ran to me and when I opened the shelter door, they ran in. I guess we know which have survival genetics. Funny enough 3 of the teens ran in too. Off to go mend the fence
