My turkeys are MAD at me tonight lol. I was winterizing the chicken coop tonight and I decided that I was finally going to go in and fence off the rafters in the turkey coop so they would have to sleep on the roost. They were all up on the table in there, staring up at the fencing, blocking their way. I'm pretty sure they were cursing under their breath. I ended up turning off their light before they even roasted. I wasn't waiting forever on them and they just kept staring up!

I have a bit of sad news. It looks like I've lost one of my CX mix babies. The youngest one (only 2 weeks younger than the others) vanished today. I have no clue where she went. I'm really hoping that maybe she found her way under the house and will manage to find her way back out tomorrow or something but I'm pretty sure something might have gotten her. I didn't hear any peeping anywhere. I still have the other 4 though. It looks like 3 boys and 1 girl. That's ok though. I need the boys to breed back to CX.

I'm sorry for your loss too :( This is the second one this week for me. The other was a 1 week old baby with a broody on her second day outside. Gone, without a trace. Her poor momma still tries to call her missing baby to food and is been about 3 days now :(

So yesterday I picked up a 4 month old Treeing Walker Coonhound. Long story, but will be showing him. Turkey's got their first glimpse of him this morning. Daisy stood back from the fence making her Geiger counter noise. Annie puffed & displayed and gave him the evil eye. She did not back away from the fence.
