Woke up to 53 degrees this morning. And rain.

Calling for the rain to change to sleet, snow, and starting to ice by 10 am. Then temps to drop all day to a low of 10 tonight.

I was watching the weather up there Feedman...was hoping to head up to Ste. Gen. Decided to stay put here. This weather is nuts! Hope it doesn't get too bad!

It's already in the mid 60's this morning. It will get warmer throughout the day....then....around midnight the bottom will drop out and we are expecting ice/sleet/snow. And it won't get above freezing for several days. What the heck is going on?
Took the girls for a walk yesterday. They love nibbling their way through the neighborhood. Lots of folks out since the weather was so warm. Annie got to untie several pairs of tennis shoes while Daisy got mugged by the kids. Such funny birds....such social gadflys.

everything coated in ice this morning and my marans roo has frostbite now, i think the warm weather over the last couple days caused the metal roof on the coop to get condensation on it

Apparently we are getting snow of our own. A rare occurrence here. Hoping for snow vs ice.

I like snow better than ice too. Just got a storm yesterday that started as rain, ended in snow, and it's now below zero again. Hello winter. You never really leave.

I am too busy working on a revision of my cookbook to write a book on turkeys.

Ok, so I am, like 50 pages behind and my OCD will not let me jump ahead. (In case anybody was wondering what happened to me.) But I saw this and now I really want R2elk's cookbook! Can anybody PM me a link? (If it's already posted somewhere in the next 50 pages, it may be a while before I get to it.)

I am liking your post mostly because I LIKE that the snow is up there!!! I have today and tomorrow of around 50 degrees and then, like Memphis said, the bottom is going to drop out. Teen temps, rain, sleet, and snow - argggggggggggg. At least no one is calling for a blizzard yet and the temps won't be as bad as last week. I get tired of watching water pipes. Son fixed what leaks I had and is supposed to come back this weekend to fix toilet tank and drain pipe - yeah they broke, too. I am actually X'ing a calendar for the end of April.

You know how the weather works around here. Yesterday morning and the night before the temperature was in the mid 40°s and got up to 48° before the cold front came through. I got a dusting of a 1/4" of really fine snowflakes. The temperature dropped to 11°F and was back up to 20° by this morning and it is now up to 32° and sunny and of course it is windy.

Please use caution when approachin the corner of hippity and hoppity lanes... there is a ten bean pile up. It seems to be clearin up nicely now that the greens are flowin through

Around the next corner we have business as usual and then the spa is booked for the rest of the afternoon.

Up the road a bit the Strut Yer Stuff stripper club seems to be takin off well for their re-grand openin. There is a seemingly nice crowd already gathered.
