She seems more alert this evening but she still has very little balance. I managed to get her to eat about 1 egg. At first she take a couple eager bites then start to fall asleep. This evening, there's much less of the falling asleep but she's still not eating much. I'm continuing the country in her water and giving her two sub-Q shots of tylan 50. I just gave her the second shot about a half hour ago. I'm thinking she has a bacterial infection in her gut and with all the rain and wetness, possibly cocci on top of it. We'll see how this goes. As long as she keeps nibbling on food and sipping her water, there's Hope.

Aurora if it were me, I'd also add a tablespoon or so of canned salmon or mackerel to her eggs.

First batch of Turkey eggs went in the bator on Thursday... The holland eggs are all developing well. So I now have RIW, Holland, RP, and BR eggs working. Re-arranging the hotels this weekend so we can add black and nari to the next batch.

I got tired of her hissing over caca babies so I dumped some water on her and she proceeded to sprint off to the other hens outside and probably tell them how much of a meanie I am.

Also, my chickens are evil to each other... 4 week age difference and having trouble with them getting along. Told the bully hen I’d let my tom have a date with her if she didn’t start behaving... he mounts everything.

Lol. I have one doin the same thing over the caca too! Ugh! Brats!

Ablyn is nice to me and my daughters, but he has a seething hatred for my son. All our toms develop a loathing for my son, it seems, no matter if my son is nice to them or mean to them. Even if he ignores them, or beats them with sticks, toms don't like my boy, poor guy. Otherwise, Ablyn gets along with everyone.

Well my nari tom had been so good, since he has had no chicken feed. Yesterday I wore a rain jacket with reflective strip and that set him after me... today he was after me again and I didn't have it on. Maybe he will settle down soon

Haven't noticed any other animals after the boy, just the toms.

was woken up to a rustling sound(wings (wings flapping) an found one of my beloved turkeys (my pet) she died in my arms. i live in southern ohio an need a mate or partner for my other turkey.
