Aurora....same here. Always one turkey with a crazy molt. The duck people are wanting to enter too.

I normally start a Gold Nugget in the house in December and move it to the greenhouse in late February. I used to plant tomato seeds in the house the 1st of March but am now waiting until the middle of March. Those normally go into the greenhouse in April.

Lucky! I got 12 ducks between July and September. When my husband finally noticed them, he said I have a disease.

Went to a poultry swap/fair today. Only one person had 3 turkeys. Lots of free roosters, decent amount of pullets/hens. And some ducks... annnnd I ended up bringing home 12 Muscovy ducks since it was the last she had and she cut me a deal. Was looking at 3-6 and my husband’s like... what’s a dozen more birds? Lol

Haaha! That sounds like somethin Paul would say too! Esp since we already have the place for dux to go and makin them a coop wouldn’t be too difficult.

I too am a fan of Gold Nuggets. And am extremely jealous of R2elk.

Annie is having a rough molt! She tried to bite her sitter who came over to help me with something in the yard. She was wearing her red tennis shoes tho. I just grabbed her, bundle of quills that she is, & deposited her in their run. Daisy, (still in the no touch zone), was horrified. I yelled at Annie & swooped her up....Daisy flapped & ran. Then flew back to us. She stuck tight. I never get mad & yell...I think I scared her.
