A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Finished up :)

I really need to expand my Etsy store and get all the sizes on it

You do!! You may have the most expansive line of Bird Bling around. It would be darling to have them modeled. But just lining them up to show size differences is pretty cool. Add some cute props...maybe set an egg from each size bird on each saddle. From turkey down to quail...too cute! I love how challenging your clientele is....from quail to jumbo bird.

Dare you to get one on a guinea!

Speaking of guineas. They are still rogue. The owner bought a net, or two. I see guinea stalking in my future this weekend.

Had a scare yesterday afternoon. Girls were standing on the backporch. I was back in my bedroom & heard them screaming. I was changing out of work clothes but went running in an odd combo of clothing. I had never heard them scream so loudly or in quite that way. They were standing there looking upset, but they were fine. No sign of a predator. No idea what happened. Stood there a bit and didn't see anything. The porch is covered. Not big. Hawk maybe? Too early for an owl or coon. No clue. But scared the heck out of me!

Glad everyone is ok! I when that happens and you have no clue what happened!

I will NOT get a guinea! Maybe, if I see one at a swap, I'll see if one of my current sizes fits or not but I'm not going out of my way for a guinea lol. Next attempt at a quick saddle was finished up last night (the blue one on the right). This one looks to be the right size but the girl it's on seems stressed out. I may need to figure out a lighter alternative. I did reach out to a quail group to see if there would be interest, and there is...a lot. I just need to figure out something that will work with these flighty buggers.

Rip stop nylon, lightweight and strong. I used to make my own ultralight backpacking equipment and used a couple different weights of this stuff.

I am guessing the little Diva's latte was a tad to cold for their liking or some equally horrific event.

@Auroradream26 The little quail girls are so adorable & sweet in their finery! I’ll bet you’re going to be begging for mercy you’ll get so many orders. I wonder if some kind of parachute fabric (maybe a bit heavier than that) would work?

I'll check them out but they have to be heavy enough to stay laying on their backs. I was thinking maybe single thickness denim or a lighter weight denim backing.
