A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I prefer cooler weather. There are only so many clothes you can take off but you can put more on when it is cooler.
I've told people when I was working this. I was slaving in the warehouse and there were desk jockeys manning the purchasing department always complaining about the warehouse being too cold. I always told them, you can always put on more clothing but you don't want me taking mine off.

It was 37 when I took the kids to the bus stop this morning but is 54 now. I like hot weather a lot better than cold since no matter how many clothes I layer on, I'm always cold. I look like the abominable Snow monster when I go out with the kids in the winter lol. I always wear DH's military snow suit and poly pros. Sometimes even that isn't enough! In the summer, it's got to be 75-80 and sunny for me to wear shorts/tank tops and I'm probably not even going to consider getting in to the pool unless it's 90 out. Even then, I'm usually only in for 20-30 minutes before my teeth start chattering and my fingernails start turning purple lol. DH and the kids are hot and sweaty and diving in the pool by 75.

70's is too cold for swimming! But R2elk makes a good point about clothing! I guess I like it warmer. It's the humidity that kills us here.

My girls were unusually fussy this morning. They were yapping away in their pen. Let them out into the big yard, headed into the house, and they were pacing & screaming their beaks off. Went back out & sat with them awhile. They hung out a bit then wandered off to forage & I snuck back to the house. They seem fine now. Not sure what their issue was...

I was forced to feed my birds today...

This stinking storm Cindy started is killing us. It was like walking through a field of Dip'n'Dots ice cream....

It does not show the dip'n'dots well but if you look at the last picture you can see them...Look closely..Also it was thundering while snowing heavy in first picture..

Below are the turkey vultures....sitting in the rafters waiting for me to fall down so they can swoop in and gobble me up...Note the slate's beer belly, however, it shows better at ground level when running towards me.
