A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Here I thought you were going to be jealous over her greenery.
Oh I definitely am jealous of her greenery—and considered saying so, too. But I think people probably get tired of my whining after a while...

Here’s me and my finally finished project. I will obviously need to tarp the two ends, but my poor geese can’t stay in that little box they’ve been using only as a bedroom until a foot of heavy wet snow melts. (Hopefully we won’t get that much. I’m always hoping the weather guys are wrong.)

There are a few little contests we need to enter some turkeys in...under the Sponsored Contests ...Broodys & Babys and Poultry Pairs. I entered the pairs. We need more turkeys!!

ATM, all I have are three scraggly-looking BBW poults and a bunch of babies. And it’s snowing like “h-e-toothpicks” so no poults amongst the lilies from me. No lilies either. :hit

At least there are also no tornadoes, so there IS that...

I see you decided to share your white crap. I got up this morning to 2 1/4" of it.

Just lots of rain here. Got over an inch sat. 1 to 2 inches last night. The main part of the storm is just now settling in. Calling for 2 plus inches out of it with possible severe weather.

Checked the river forecast. They are calling for it to raise almost 5 feet by 11am tomorrow. Beating the new high water mark that was set at end of March. That record beat the 1993 level.

:( Sorry to hear that... no authorization was given on my part, I promise. It’s still coming down here. Hard to say how much we’ve got so far because the ground was warm(ish) and the snow is as wet as it can be without being, actually, rain. It’s been in the low 30’s day & night for the last several days—just gray—metaphorically and chromatically. (And white... lots of gray and lots & lots of white).

Cold birds, wet miserable cows, soggy soggy ground... Surely this HAS to be the last winter storm for a month or two. Doesn’t it???

It is still snowing here also but it is melting faster than it is coming down because it is 40°F.

The Wild turkey hen showed up this morning and is still hanging around.
