I stole the babies and they are now in the brooder with three that are a week older. She was really good about it and only lightly pecked me once. She immediately went back to sitting on the two remaining eggs. I will check them tomorrow and if they are bad, I will give her the opportunity to adopt the 5 four week old poults. The two Tri-Color Mottled Black poults are from her eggs.

If you pen Daisy where she can't take the babies out where something can happen to them, she will probably do a very good job taking care of them. A hen sure beats a heated brooder.

Memphis - just got this today - Fox was about 10 miles from me - and remember, very rural here so that is not far! lol
