A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Daggone it, Ralphie - You KNOW it won't be the same without a few of them around. :hit :hugs

I would come get him, but my broom doesn't have the long-distance flight capability.

I wish someone would come and get them. The hens are so sweet and innocent looking. The follow me as if they adore me. Butchering them is going to be hard for me to do. They have become more pets than livestock.

So....my little girls are starting to follow me as I garden in the back. Oh goodie! More helpers! They are starting to be more curious about things than cautious. And I noticed when they get startled by something they run to me. Lapper training starting to pay off. They are super easy to put to bed. They've caught on to the routine. When I start walking behind them, they march right into the pen. Turkey temperament just fascinates me. Its been so interesting watching these babies as they mature.

Oh....and they are so pretty. Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all! Skinny Iris has the sweetest face. Poppy is getting huge! Her spots are really coming in! They are beautiful to me, even if my sitter thinks Poppy is God awful ugly. My sister thinks they look prehistoric. Sigh.....
