A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Hey, if you go extra fancy, a simple eyelet lace ruffle along with bottom might be cute too... For the really girly girls.
You are talking about this just because you know sewing classes drive me nuts, aren’t you?

This applies to all you females!!!!:th

So the neighborhood gaggle of kids were off school Monday....meaning Daisy had quite a few visitors. Two little girls came into the backyard & sat on a bench. Daisy hopped up between them & sat down to preen. Those two kids are so good with her. They just petted her & talked to her like a couple little magpies. Meanwhile the poults weren't sure what to think. They stood at a distance & eyeballed the situation! Little guys are slowly getting used to the neighbors dropping in.

We've been missing some folks....Feedman? Noellereagan? Guess its summer & everyone is busy.
Or the fashion lessons scared them away...:lau:lau

I carried Junior up to my Mom’s deck yesterday. He sat in my lap and enjoyed a chat....

I put him down and he was confused as to how to get off the deck. I finally, walked him to the steps and down he ran. Then he was confused as to where to go....

There were two chickens in front of her house scratching so he ran over to them. It was like he was asking them for directions back to the barn. He wandered around gobbling and trying to get a turkey reply. No one responded. I felt sorry for him being so stupid and all....... so I got off the deck as soon as I was on the ground he cane running over to me. You could see he was worried he would never see his turkey friends again.

I started walking towards the barn with him walking right next to me. At about 100 ft from the barn he saw a turkey and took off running for her. I love the dinosaur run they have...

But I decided brains was not going to be Junior’s strong suit in the gene pool.:gig

Come on Ralphie! Can't just drop Jr into an unknown area & expect him to figure it all out! Poor boy! Iris was the same way when she flew the fence. She could hear Poppy screaming, but couldn't figure out all she had to do was fly back over the fence. At least she let me walk up & grab her.

@memphis i have a diva!!!

She is ready to move to the nunnery. She is the perfect bird for you. We were doing the chores and I had to pickup and hold Junior several times.

One of the little girls was giving me the eye the entire time I held Junior. She looked like she wanted to be held.

I put Junior down and picked her up. She screamed, yelled and threw a true hissy fit the entire time I held her. She was a true drama queen. The WW even came into the barn to ask what I was doing to that “poor bird”.

As soon as I set her down she shut up and followed me around as if she wanted to be picked up..

She is a mottled tri color, when would you like to come and get her?
