A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Hey...sad update on those two guineas we had to catch. The owner decided that he could let one out of the pen at a time. The reasoning was that it wouldn't leave his yard because the other was still in its pen. Then, as it got dark, he would go pick it up & install it back into the pen. Well, he scared it and it flew over his back fence & got killed by their dog. I would have loved to see that dogs face when a guinea fell out of the sky at its feet. So the poor remaining guinea cried & cried. He finally rehomed it. For some reason this guy was convinced they would become tame & behave like chickens & just hang out.

is this the Cornish palm? He's got very light red on his shoulder, and is regular Royal Palm looking otherwise

I was going to cut out a bunch of fabric today but I decided to make a new form and test it out. What do you guys think? The tail gap is smaller so it offers slightly more protection on the sides. It's getting tested now by one of my ameraucana ladies. I'm thinking of shortening the elastic length by about a half inch also but we'll see.
