the bad thing about wyoming is the short growing season. how's the greenhouse doing?

I need to get new roofing panels for it to repair last months hail damage. It took out 10 of the 12 panels.

One of my Sweetgrass poults has a milky thing on its right eye. It seems non-solid but I hadn’t brought out a tissue so I didn’t daub it. I had a dropper only and it wasn’t liking being held at all. They’re pretty wild. I administered the “medicine”, which seemed to feel good to the little guy/girl, and let it go. This morning when I let them all out, its eye was open but still looking a bit whitish. I’ll give it another drop later and maybe manage a photo. Any ideas what may have caused this or what it might be?

The drops are made from a bit of @R2elk ’s honey (literally the best I’ve ever had) in some wild rose water I had in the freezer. (I had made it up for a little drake and it worked well—way different eye problem, no contact with the poults.)

For the last 20 years, my place has gone by "Dusti's Den" - a combo of my husband's first name and mine. I've used it to register our Corgie's and for handmade soap that I sold to cover extra medical expenses - since Den had CML. Even had a sign someone made us until the housefire took it along with the greenhouse. I do Plan on having another greenhouse and have the greenhouse plastic in the shed. Looks like not until spring though, before I can start that particular project. One (or a dozen) thing(s) at a time.

Tri-Color Mottled Slates and Tri-Color Mottled Blacks are easy for me to make as long as I have a Blue Slate hen and a Sweetgrass tom. Tri-Color Mottled Slates and Tri-Color Mottled Blacks are also easy for Ralphie to make by breeding a Blue Slate tom to a Royal Palm hen. If he goes the other way and uses a Royal Palm tom over a Blue Slate hen, he will get sex linked offspring. The female offspring will be either Mottled Slates or Mottled Blacks and the male offspring will be Tri-Color Mottled Slates or Tri-Color Mottled Blacks.
