Good Wednesday morning all. About to head out to do morning chores.

Now that it’s cooler I am starting three days of internal parasite treatments. I found a round worm in someone’s doodoo yesterday morning, I have been wanting to worm them all last month but the heat kept me from doing this, I didn’t want anyone not drinking enough water.

So three days, then wait 2 weeks then 3 more days of treatment. Should clear them out!

Those wattles don't looks so wee to me! Oegb roosters always look like they are made up of half wattles & comb.

Old Red has passed away, I am rather relieved, poor old girl. Now the only hen of my BIL’s left is Raven. She seems hearty and hale so far.

Blanche is also the same age I would say, she is moulting at the moment.

And it’s been just pelting down rain all afternoon, I had hoped it would stop but it’s now 7PM and still pelting down. I need to bury the old girl, I guess she isn’t going anywhere and can wait until tomorrow. But I wanted to put her to her final rest.
