Good Wednesday morning all. About to head out to do morning chores.

Now that it’s cooler I am starting three days of internal parasite treatments. I found a round worm in someone’s doodoo yesterday morning, I have been wanting to worm them all last month but the heat kept me from doing this, I didn’t want anyone not drinking enough water.

So three days, then wait 2 weeks then 3 more days of treatment. Should clear them out!

Those wattles don't looks so wee to me! Oegb roosters always look like they are made up of half wattles & comb.

Old Red has passed away, I am rather relieved, poor old girl. Now the only hen of my BIL’s left is Raven. She seems hearty and hale so far.

Blanche is also the same age I would say, she is moulting at the moment.

And it’s been just pelting down rain all afternoon, I had hoped it would stop but it’s now 7PM and still pelting down. I need to bury the old girl, I guess she isn’t going anywhere and can wait until tomorrow. But I wanted to put her to her final rest.

Been watching mamas and the babies, they are at one end of the Summer House, then the other end, then run back to the other end. Zip zooom zip….

Mr P has been watching them and when they run towards him him he runs away hahahaha.

I had to laugh last night he was calling to the girls and the babies came running, you should have seen him run away from them and the mamas - hilarious! Poor old man

All the others move away from them - it’s good, it gets those older ladies moving. I’m exhausted just watching them! Ok back to work for me
