She isn't turning into anything. She is just starting to get her tri-colors.and her mottling is showing up.

lol - Ok, I wasn't sure the way you had stated it. I thought maybe she was changing completely!

They are like my Speckled Sussex....spots change with each molt. Daisy's, blue slate, spots change each year.

I haven't memorized the spots on my Sussex, Memphis. It's all I can do to keep a half-assed count going. There are enough chickens, that I now mark them "present" in my head by type.

Rained most of the day yesterday. We needed rain. Just not all in one day. And the bottom fell out of the temps. Its 48 this morning. It was 80 yesterday morning.

The high yesterday got all the way up to 47°F. It is already 29°F this morning with an overnight low of 24°F at 1:24 AM. Most of the snow is gone.

Its 43 here. I had to put on socks! The coonhound is under his blankie! The turkeys are flapping & enjoying the weather.
