I haven't memorized the spots on my Sussex, Memphis. It's all I can do to keep a half-assed count going. There are enough chickens, that I now mark them "present" in my head by type. They are like my Speckled Sussex....spots change with each molt. Daisy's, blue slate, spots change each year.
She looks good R2elk!!
The high yesterday got all the way up to 47°F. It is already 29°F this morning with an overnight low of 24°F at 1:24 AM. Most of the snow is gone.Rained most of the day yesterday. We needed rain. Just not all in one day. And the bottom fell out of the temps. Its 48 this morning. It was 80 yesterday morning.
