A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

As we say in Memphis, Adam is a "hunk o'burning love". She said he weights around 22 pounds. I thought that was a good size for a baby! She spent a lot of time with him while he was in isolation and he bonded & turned out to be a real sweetie.

Ralphie. ..i think it was a subconscious thing on the part of your wife, naming Ginger. Can't wait to see the close up shots!! I'm still betting hen. Regardless, Ginger is a gorgeous color.

Chaos. ..when do you get the new hens! I can't wait for pictures! :weee

So bored at my sisters! I actually took my dogs out early for a big run in freezing weather. Uggg! But I have to say, I enjoyed the cold more than I thought I would. It's only in the 20's. My dogs loved it! They like the cold better than I do! Her little dogs have to wear coats to go tinkle in the backyard.

Will be getting them as soon as I finish building a quarantine pen for them. I have a little dog who loves to play in the snow, she doesn't wear a sweater either because she hates them. So its her own fault if she starts shivering because shes taking to long to use the bathroom.

My family won't let up....keep teasing me about my turkeys. My DS even had the nerve to say to me last night " It's 10 o'clock, do you know where your turkeys are". Really? She really had to go there?

Chaos. ..my DS has mini dachshunds. They are "entitled". She keeps teasing me about my turkeys and I keep telling her the black/tan one looks like a big cockroach. Family time....can't get too much of it!

Chaos, my uncle lives about 20 miles east of Gettysburg. Are you at all close?

None of my animals, whether pet or livestock, are entitled to anything. Yes I do love them and try to give them the best care possible but in the end they are animals. Luckily my dog (shes a jackshit) (jack russell/shitzhu/french bulldog) (but mostly jack russell) is fast enough to not get stepped on, if she was a slow small one she'd probably get kicked or stepped on multiple times a day. My FIL has a yorkie who is babied beyond belief and he's slow so I have to be careful when visiting.
I'm about 4 hrs west of Gettysburg, so nope not close at all. I'm over north of Pittsburgh.
