Yesterday I went in with DH to a check-up with a PA. He and the PA were talking about the weather. He said, "Yes it's really nice at our place too. Cindy was going to butcher some turkeys today, but now she's probably not going to have time since she came into town with me." The poor woman just put on this kind of blank look that people get when their reality has gone awry, and moved on to her assessment as though nothing had been said. I kind of got the idea that she wasn't able to figure out what on earth he meant and assumed she must have heard wrong. Or something. 
What??? It wasn't me. HE did it.
I was surprised to hear that coming out of his mouth. He won't even come out to talk to me while I'm processing, poor baby. He's that tender hearted.
