You haven't looked very closely, have you? I can remember the days of the dogs bathing in fresh cow pies and getting it everywhere on them including their ears.

Have you SEEN or worse SMELLED the gick the floppy-eared ones grow under those cute ear covers? Hey btw, we use Zythromax for ours. Apparently it's been *discovered* and the manufacturers have let this go to their heads. The price for it now is ridiculous. The prescription stuff doesn't do anything at all, that I can see. Anyone know a good home remedy?

Labs don’t normally have ear problems, other than loss of hearing when they want to ignore me.

Really? Both our Lab and our current Lab/Golden got/get ear mites. Fortunately DH feels that only he can treat this condition. "What? Poor little'ol me-- why ah could never figure that out..."

My dog probably eats enough ivermectin laced poop to never get bugs

It is a genetic thing in any collie derived breed . Poison to them . Early that dog must be easy on the dog food .

I wish! I used to threaten to fill her dish with chicken poop but she'd probably eat it, haha. No she eats well, Darwins is her brand because she is a good girl
