A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I'm guessing the brown (ee) color fades in turkeys? This past year I focused on learning pigeon color genetics and am just learning about other poultry colors. In pigeons the brown color fades allot in the sun and it seems like in turkeys it does too?

I was just at Porters site and he talks about that in his page on chocolates, it is interesting.

Cool, I love Porter's site. I ordered 15 poults a few weeks ago from Porter's that should come in in June, 5 auburn, 4 sweetgrass, 3 lilac and 3 self blue. Plus I already have two females, a bourbon red and a royal palm so am gonna have allot of cool color genes.
I just saw the sale on assorted poults,

too bad I already ordered some.

This IS like a science class! It's very good to describe it that way to parents, thats the only reason I'm allowed to get 15 poults next year LOL
