Caught this yesterday... Such a treat! My little girl Sparrow acting like a handsome little lady! Minutes after this she squatted down in front of me and laid an egg. Something so cute and charming about hens puffing up like a tom.

I have had a turkey hen missing for 5 days now. While hunting for her, I managed to find this girl trying to become an unauthorized incubator.

While searching for the missing hen, I passed by within 2' of her daily. I essentially looked directly at her daily without being able to see her. I am pretty sure that I even watered her while hand watering the plants in the area. The only reason I was able to find her today was because she made a slight movement while I was looking at her location with my peripheral vision.

Yes, she is going to be really ticked off when I steal her eggs. I don't want any more poults this year. I still have 13 that are about 2 months old now. I can sex them now. Hint, hint.
