A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I think I have one setting, or the Coyotes had a yummy dinner... one never knows which it is.
I have one that hasn't been seen for 4 days. She is extremely adept at hiding her nest and rarely leaves the nest. The last time it took me two weeks and I only found it by accident.

So far this time, I have only found the nest of a different one that was just about to go broody.

Caught someone's hounds loose on my place... Didn't shoot because they were good boys and not tracking my birds, I suspect they were tracking Coons and skunks? The tricolor acted like he was ignoring the poultry and the brown one didn't come close. Looked like the brown was the lead tracker? They covered the whole 35 acre plot within 5 minutes, the brown one bayed a few times near the big tree, then the tri color came over to me for a petting, he made note of the bird standing right behind me and chose to ignore it, then they were off like shots. I hope they are ok, I'm sure they are someone's trained hunters and the brown one managed to get onto the interstate... He may become a doggy pancake but that one is intent on the hunt....
I hope they go home.
Good boys for not harassing the farm animals.

Did she resemble a Copper head about to strike?
Something like that. My niece went over and stuck up the bottom of her shoe and let the copperhead strike it to show me "how mean she is" lol.
Finally caught them both and escorted them out front so they can find their way home. At least I hope they go home, both had collars with no id and it's Sunday so no animal control.
No ID!
Dang hound owners. I'm glad they were good and didn't cause you any trouble.

The tri sounds like a Walker. Coonhounds are really sweet dogs. Wonder if they are chipped. Guess they could have been out hunting all night & got away form their handler. But more than likely they escaped. Somebody is looking for them
Yes he looks exactly like a walker. The brown one was light brindled and slightly shorter than the walker. The walker was a big muscly dude neither neutered. The brown one did all the singing/baying and the walker followed up. I hope their person finds them!

Edit: I hope they cleaned up all the Coons.

The brindle looks like a treeing Tennessee walker?
