A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Ralph - Sounds like awesome weather, and should be a good evening for you :) When you get your jet, we'll be able to transport turkeys all over the country.... Penguin can take up residence with Daisy and Annie :gig

Memphis - your girls are hilarious. I thought they didn't lay eggs in the winter and I thought for sure not while molting!!!? You'll need to explain how things are supposed to work to them lol. I'm jealous of your lovely weather, enjoy it for the rest of us :) We've been haaving wind gusts up to 60mph the last several days, and it's cool and raining. Ick! The birds hate it (the wind mostly).

LOL sounds like Daisy and Annie are confused about what season it is.

My lurkey RP turkey ate out of my hand for a few minutes this morning! I hope she becomes a lapper eventually, even if I have to bribe her with food at first

Lozuufy...your hen is cute. Keep working with her & she'll be a Lapper before you know it!
Fiesty, hadn't thought of that! With access to a plane Ralphie can just send down Penguin. That poor little under appreciated darling!

Thanks! Does anybody have any name suggestions for her? She doesn't have a name yet, I was thinking maybe Peppermint but still not decided

You need to tell us more about her & we'll help you with names. What breed is she?

My girls would be such good therapy turkeys! The old couple down the street was out walking & stopped to visit. Once they sat down on a bench, the girls hopped up next to them. They can't get over being able to pet the turkeys. They sure get a kick out of the girls.

LOL they would be! My grandfather lives with us and his caregiver used to work in a nursing home and says my BR turkey Basil would be a great therapy turkey. She never was around poultry before (from city) and is so excited she gets to be around them now, and she says out of all my birds the turkeys are her favorite! Although she really likes my pigeons and house sparrow too....

Since you have one turkey named after an herb, Basil, you could name her after one too. Sage, Rosemary. ...

regium is Latin for royal and håndflade is Danish for palm... I have no idea how to pronounce it...

LOL I have no idea how to even begin to try to pronounce it

I have a chicken named Sage, but I could call her something like that, I'm tired so not thinking clearly though.

Good night!
