Just looked at a video from this guy.(Examples of Rare Heritage turkey mixes: red palms) Not sure how credible his other info is only watched this one, but he defiantly doesn't know what he is talking about on varieties of heritage turkeys. Always beware of info from bloggers and youtube as you need to take a lot of it with a grain of salt.

Oh, yeah, huh. I just noticed he said a cross between a Bourbon Red and a Royal Palm makes a Red Palm. Kinda wish that was true, but all the calculator shows is Red Bronze. I'd love to just breed my red tom to my palm hen and get a red palm, one of my favorite hen colors lol.

Seriously! I was watching a YouTube video earlier, and this guy had GUINEAS! I knew then that he didn’t know what he was talking about.

Ya I think some you have to watch with the whole salt shaker not just a grain.

He was talking about red palms, blue palms, and black palms and I never saw any of them in video. Not sure there is a black palm but then I don't know everything myself, If there is I don't believe I have ever seen one.

I think that goes for anything online or anywhere else. Must always beware of false info.

Those reds are gorgeous! I would have killed to have one or two of those in my rainbow flock, haha. I hardly can ever find uncommon colors here. Always just the same red, black, slate, royal palm, narragansett, bronze, white... which are pretty birds! I just like the weird ones.

Royal Palm is probably what he is referring to as a black palm.

You can find more false information on YouTube than most anywhere else. Don't forget about the idiot that claims his Turken rooster is half turkey and half chicken.
