A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Is it the swift fox your talking about? I hope the trappers your speaking of are doing it during the trapping months. I dispiese poachers.
Every state has different laws. I am pretty sure that Montana like Wyoming views the Red Fox as a varmint. There is no season for varmints. They are allowed to be taken at any time of the day or night all year long.

@Bantambird 's fox was a Red Fox. Swift Fox are protected and cannot be taken at anytime.

Managed to get a little closer but still cant tell. I tried to use the 40x lens but I couldnt get it to focus and we didnt want the vet to get pissed at us for screwing up the scope lol. We are gonna see if he can read it if he has time.

That looks like what your looking for! That second one is a coccidia oocyst for sure. Looks like a boiled egg cut in half lol. Were there a lot of them?

Surprisingly not! In that sample we found maybe 3? That was the sample that had blood in it as well. The other 2 slides didn't really have anything of note on it that I can remember, but they were non-blood samples

That is not too bad. Corid is probably working for you. I would give them baycox, if they were mine, but i live in a wet, soggy area so it spreads faster here.

This guy is great when it comes to raising turkeys as pets and them imprinting on him.
Makes it hard for dinner birds. They give you a look that makes you know they feel betrayed. Also the toms tend to fight you for dominance, which made it easier to send to the freezer.

I cant eat mine no matter what. Just like my chickens and ducks. Eating them would mean the end of the world was near.

I started raising poultry because I don't like how the factory farms raise the birds. I figure they had a better life and one bad day.
The first heritage turkeys I got at 8 wks and had bonded with the previous owners. Ended up with 4 jakes and put them all in the freezer.. 2 had bad crooked toes and the other 2 were agressive
