From the picture it appears that there are some black speckles visible.
The second one is what we call a Blue-Winged Narragansett.
As I don't have a good picture of this variety already, I would really appreciate if you might allow me to use it on my website for demonstrational purpose.

Absolutely! This narrows down the mother for me, too. I love this color. This jenny is about 4 months old

is this something similar with some sort of red gene? Original color inputs are: royal palm, bourbon red, sweetgrass, blue slate. All colors are subsequent recombination and experimentation from those.

This variety is called Rusty Slate.

The white tipps on the lower back indicate the presence of the narragansett gene (n).
