A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Poult pictures from the late nests of Rosabelle, Pretty Girl, and Two-Toes. Have two poults left (sold a few to offset costs) that hatched with a pattern similar to a wild type except the black parts replaced with blue.

I could easily see Memphis doing this with her girls! We always joked about doing it with Daisy. My turkey girls definitely aren't tolerant enough to do it! I miss her 😢. I hope Daisy and the other girls are still living the spoiled life though I know they could never be as spoiled as they were before.

Question! My poults are 14 weeks old now, am I able to switch them to the adults 20% all flock feed? I ran out of my 24% grower and I would prefer to not have to order/ship another bag again, but I will if they aren't really ready for it yet lol.

Yes you can switch over they really only need the 28% to 30% for about 8 weeks and the 24% to about 12 weeks. I feed 28% game bird starter for 12 weeks and 24% game bird grower from then on. But I supplement feed from 12 weeks on with garden veggies and farm grains spilled from harvesting, and ground fall apples, pears, wild grapes etc.. All considered treats so I use the higher 24% game bird grower offered 24/7 and free range to make up for the lower protean % of treats.
