What age do you guys generally have no issues with hawks attempting to snag poults? Mine are just 5 months this month and most of them except 1 are about the same size as the adult hens, just not as filled out yet. One of them is decently smaller which I am worried about being a target too. I know theyre tired of being in the roofed chain link kennel all day though and it'd be nice to let them free range the backyard with the others before all the grass dies.

Try to attract crows because they keep the hawks away. I don't know how might have to look it up. But I had hawks all over my yard and then all of a sudden the crows came and I have not had any hawks near my home because The crows are so territorial. But I have no idea how I attracted them near my property.

I personally haven't seen a ton of hawks this year, we definitely do have crows but they just showed up again recently. I've seen mostly turkey vultures this year. We have had chickens and a call duck go mysteriously missing back in 2019-2020 with no trace of how, so I assumed hawks since they're definitely around somewhere. I've never had any trouble with the adult turkeys honestly, but I imagine it's because they're generally big and not worth it for a hawk to mess with.

I had one 5 week old that I think a hawk got. The mom sounded an alert and flew over the fence, one poult was missing. Lots of trees, I was about 600ft away with my back turned, so I didn't see anything.
Owls are my problem, but they roost in trees at night.

Every year, I share my son's halftime show with you guys. It's a little different this year without Memphis (that was a year ago now by the way :( ) but I still want to share it. He's playing the tenor drums this year instead of clarinet. In the second video, he's the kid on the left facing backwards at first.

Cant tell from video's but I know somewhere in those stands is a proud momma grinning from ear to ear :thumbsup

I have to say, I have been loving your vaporwave inspired turkey profile art. I am a sucker for fun stuff like that. The colors are bright yet work together pretty well!

Haha thanks!! It's my favorite kind of stuff and it's pretty cathartic to draw. I am a sucker for colors that can make you go blind if you look directly at them, lol.
