I got mine from McMurray. They were shipped from New Mexico so were obviously contracted out. At least half of mine turned out to be Tri-colors so obviously they weren't from a top quality breeder.

If the little royal palm is a jenny I don't plan on using her as a breeder. She will be free ranged in my goat lot. If it ends up being a jake we will eat him (if it survives).

Somewhere. They only had small amounts of brown and were sold as soon as any brown developed. Most of it showed up in the tail feathers.

Ok that is what I'm seeing in my blue palm looking jenny and the semi penciled palm jenny. They have very faint tan colored tail feathers coming in. I will still use them as they are both beautiful birds. I am hoping to focus on penciling in one pen as I acquired a fully penciled fall fire jake that I could put over both of them. I would love to get some penciled blue fall fires.

I am a sucker for lacing, although it is a hard pattern to work with in some ways, for show and stuff. I end up bringing in some wild patterns these days because I am in love with the experimentation, and attempting to keep track of whom is with whom.
