Checking nest houses/boxes 1 with 4 eggs / 1 with 3 eggs / 1 with 1 egg so things are getting going here.

This is the girl that thinks she owns the place and has been around the farm since hatched last spring. Her momma brother and sister left late fall joining back up with main flock,

but this girl adopted the farm as home and never left. The other hen with her in other pics I believe is her sister as she was not that scared of me and seemed to know her way around.

Still raining/snowing so couldn't get very good pics but did get a few of 2 wild hens in with my extra toms. Investigative birds. Wild turkeys are very beautiful.

Loved watching them growing up last summer they roosted in a large tree overlooking my pond.

Here is a pic of them all roosting last summer. you can barley see them in the top.

Got to watch them go up to roost every evening as they used the open edge of pond as their runway to fly up in tree. I could sit in my living room and watch them out my back large picture window.
