A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I am pretty sure Ralph does. I mean how else would have that he could get a yaht that has a swimmimg pool the size of eagle lake??

Right now it is a nice warm 5 below. It sounds cold but I have been outside in 40 below building snow forts with fire places. Did you know that it doesn't work to have a fireplace in a snow fort??

40 below would kill me! My gloves are purely decorative.
I noticed you have some birds from Urch. Are you close to Turnland? I've always heard he has nice birds. Are you showing them at all this year?

I am not that close about 5 hours I think?? The birds I have now are junk. Better than most Hstchery birds. I am going to replace them with new chicks soon from Theri Voss and am going to try and get a started Cockerel from the great Rick Klerh. But I love the birds I have now!! Its not their fault people can't cull dwcently and only use good birds for breeding. It frustrates me sometimes.

There are people that show turkeys!! I have seen it!! But I am not that person!!

I will be showing the chicks I get. I am getting them in a few weeks and most shows start in June or July so I should be fine. I also am getting Bantam Salmon Faverolles from Theri Voss. I can't wait for them and the fluffy Cochins!!!

I will keep the Cochins I have now and add color to my layer flock or breed pet quality Cochins too.

I love Cochins! Just gorgeous! But always have steered clear of the feathered legs. How do you keep the leg feathers from getting all ratty?

You need to make sure the coop stays dry. I don't water any birds inside they all get watered outside and we have a huge poop board and everyone but water fowl and a few brat hens sleep on the roosts over it and that keep the coop so much dryer. I will get pics of my Cochins once it gets light out
