He is a calico turkey. Out of a BR and a RP

Okay so now I need a self-blue hen (to make rusty slates), and a RP hen (to make calico). Hmmm, I wonder what other hen would make pretty babies? I think I'll end up keeping 2 bourbon boys in the end.

Feeman has a Blue Palm I want. Bred to my BR or my blue...wonder if I'd get purple calicos!!!

Dang I wish those turkey babies would hurry up! Ralphs little screamer creamers are popping out like popcorn!

We should get all kinds of mottled ones. One was a tri coler mottled slate,,That sounds cool..

There is no picture on Porters. I am betting we (Holm and I ) will get a few new ones for the photo line up!

Remember how I was bragging about how I got all the supplies and hid them in the shed so my DW would not find them?




Well, I outsmarted myself today. I was going to town to get a few things and she decided to go with. She found the receipt and loading ticket for all the stuff I bought and the price clearly written on it,,,,

It was real hard to deny it..BUT I tried!

I drove my van to get the stuff and pulled a trailer so I could hide it in the shed. I should have taken my truck, She never rides in that. She hates it..stupid me.

We just candled the eggs, about half have movement inside them!!!

The others still look viable. with the exception of two. One has too large of an air sac the other is close to clear. That is the one I almost threw out the other night.
