A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Holm, some people will never get it.
Aurora, that's a horrendous story.

It was a horrible day. This is Rocky a few days after. He actualy had done punctures that they couldn't stitch up because they needed to make sure that he could have drainage. They had him on 3 different pills for pain and antibiotics.

Wow. Poor guy. He's lucky to be alive. That could have been a deadly situation. Breaking up dog fights is serious business.

Just tucked in my hens for the night. :) They were waiting for me on the back porch rail. Plucked Annie off the rail & carried her to the coop. She snuggles her head down the neck of my jacket. Daisy hopped down & followed me. She's so full of pins I don't dare touch her. Poor girl. I had to chuckle at them...they look like a couple of Butterballs sitting on the rail.

Ralph, how is it going with Ethel Jr? Are you trying to spend time with her each day?

Today is a large inrush of air into a vacuum.

I am tired of snow and winter. Things broke, I froze.

Tonight's bedtime story is interesting. I changed into dry warm clothes and went out to plow more snow. I saw the turkeys in the pen. I went out to lock them in. They saw me heading to the pen and they came dinosaur jogging towards the door to come outside. I had to run, which I hate to do to beat them to the door and lock them in. I beat them. but they really intended to escape and cause grief!

NO Memphis they were not coming to greet me.

Got my first Big Bird egg today - it was directly under the roost on a big turd :sick so I had to wash it to take a picture lol. Hopefully she figures out that there is a spot to park them so that they don't crack on landing

Awesome!! My first egg was in a giant "bowl" by the wall of our coop. I am glad the hen never went broody or I would have died trying to fill feeders
