A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

That toms beautiful!!! I want him!

You can make your own by crossing a self blue with a sweetgrass. That combination will produce 100% Tri-color Mottled Slates. The Tri-color Mottled Slates when mated to each other can produce up to 27 different color varieties. Some of their possible offspring in my opinion are stunning.

Ralph, is that an Australorp?

Your guess is as good as mine.

We are thinking our Grand daughter had so much fun putting eggs in the incubator, she added another one.

I am guessing by his legs he is, and the egg was a very dark brown like theirs are...BUT the question is, who's the Daddy?

I couldn't take it had to candle all 14 of my eggs in bator.

10 veined good and can see a little embryo.
1 clear
1 veined but severly detached air sac.
1 with blood ring.
1 is cloudy.

Will still give til thurs. Candle again and toss the bad ones.

10 of 14 I'm stoked.

Its bad to say it but I'm addicted to hatching.

As they admission is the first step. But in this case I don't think it will help.

Same as with turkey/chicken math.

Ready for winter to end so I can do some outside work.

11 degrees and 15mph winds just not conducive in my book for that.

What I wouldn't give to have 11 degrees and just 15mph winds...

Feedman, your hatch sounds like it's coming along great! Yipee! And I've had it with this weather. I know it's not as cold down here, but this cold snap is bumming me out. All my daffodils have buds. All I need is a few warm sunny days and they'll bloom.

Daisy FINALLY lost her ragged tail feathers! Poor girl is such a molting mess. Pins everywhere. She doesn't want me to even touch her. Annie, however, is starting to look beautiful! I couldn't help myself. Had to pick her up & get hen hugs. She snuggles her head in my jacket collar. Also picked up all my chickens. Just to check them out...they aren't as excited about hugs!
