A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Days 25 on have been bad for me too this year. It seems the last few days I lose them, It is frustrating, when I do egg-topsides I find nearly hatchable chicks ( spell check did not like that word)

Hey everyone! Can I join? It's my first year with turkeys and my poults are growing SO fast! I'm absolutely in love with them

Ralph I am so sorry! Where did you manage to get the humidity up to?

I lost to many hatches this year myself.

I did finally get the humidity up, but two things happened the ambient humidity went up with the summer and I added a second sponge and have been really drenching them.

And as I glance at my hatcher it is down to 29% again,,Arrrghhh... I have been outside so they were kind of neglected.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I have a 6 week old Bourbon red who follows me everywhere, 3 5 week olds (1 blue slate, 1 blue slate/red slate cross, and one bronze/narri/red slate cross), 1 4 week old Bourbon red/Narragansett/eastern wild mix, and 4 1 week old Bourbon reds lol. I had rough luck with hatching eggs and finally went out and bought the last 4 poults.

Hopefully, that works. It's my baby Eve following me around the yard lol.
