Miss Coco is a funny bird - she still doesn't want to be touched. She likes to go up high (10' or higher) and look down on me when she's out running around. I figured out really quickly that the best way to get her down is to walk away,,,,, then she immediately flies down and follows so she won't be left alone She likes to talk and always answers when I talk to her - I guess she's a lurker. Big Bird doesn't seem to share her penchant for high places thankfully - it would be a pain to have a bunch of turkeys roosting on top of the barn lol.

I saw this incubator on incubator whare house. How do you like it?

I have 2 of them and I like them a lot. For the most part, I plug them in and don't worry much about them. But the other day was really humid and warm. Temps spiked in both and humidity in one. I plugged in a small fan and had it blow past, not on, and everything went back to normal. I like that they are plastic and not styrofoam. Much easier to clean, although I don't hatch in them. I have a styrofoam one I use for hatching. It's a pain in the rear. They only hold 27 chicken eggs or 22 turkey eggs, but I'm ok with that.

They would most likely work fine for us normal people, but those addicts like Aurora would look at it like a alcoholic does near beer....contempt for them because they are too small..

BTW I like the idea of being able to watch the eggs through them. Does it have a turner?

Yes, it has a turner. I'm not much of a drinker, so it suits me fine.

What is the best heritage turkey to get?which ones work well with children . Do they lay year around .which ones work around ducks, dogs, chickens ,pot belly pig. Different noises around them. Which ones do better in small quantitys.which ones ship well.how do we find a listing in our area or around us.

Do I have to incubate turkey eggs or turkey does it. Can the turkey be a saragent as a chicken egg.
