A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

They should ALL ship on Halloween night

Well, just had a faulty lamp situation in my brooder and I'm now considering putting the poults in with out chicks. I'm extremely nervously about this choice, our Sulmtalers chicks are super expensive so I'd be devastated if something happened, but I would be equally devastated if I lost a poult to cold :/

They are a week apart in age so I'm mostly concerned of the size difference. I think I'm gonna sacrifice some of tonight's sleep and just supervise for a while. Bleh. Of course the darned thing bugs out at midnight. Thank god my intuition told me to do one last walk through tonight.

Quote: @R2elk , so then do you think @codieshell 's two poults are in fact Royal Palm hens? That's what they look like to me when I enlarge the photos, except for that brown area on the wing. (But that could be dirt.) Or do you think they are light colored Sweetgrass males?

If it was me, I would keep breeding that pair, because they could produce a nice variety of really pretty turkeys. Lucky for him the bronze hen was carrying extra genes! I wish I could find a bronze tom like that.
