A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I wonder if I could breed a pure red turkey like a Bourbon red but with the black lacing coloring of a Royal Palm.
You're cross can come out different ways depending on the father being a bourbon red or royal palm, the hybrids will be all red bronzes or toms red bronze, hens golden Narragansett. The red bronzes will be split b1/b cg/C, r/R ng/N, but will look like off colored red bronzes......

No a darker red with no white.

I suspect that you would have to hope for a mutation since even Bourbon Reds have a lot of white on them. You might need to start with Regal Red and maybe use Sweetgrass to bring in the Royal Palm Markings.

I think it would be very difficult to produce what you are describing without a lot of luck and lots of generations of lots of poults.

Yeah I changed my mind I'll stick with chickens... And mutt turkeys...

We finally made it back home after being trapped in Albuquerque for a week due to my wife having pneumonia. My mother said this is the most relaxed Mars has been all week. I missed my little girl, and she hasn't left my side since I walked in the door
