Yeah...that's is....Ethel posing on the hood of a classic pickup with a rose in her beak! Head thrown back, feathers blowing in the wind, and a set of pearls around her neck! I can just see it! We could come up with all kinds of fun staging for turkey photos! We could blow the minds of the "other" fowl calendar people!

JJ in a top hat, Adam in a Superman cape, an action shot of Turkulus falling off of something (and injuring himself again ) We could round ip a bunch of R2elk's Slates, dye their tails pink & put them in tutu's!

Sorry...I'm exhausted!

Funny you should mention that. We were talking about putting little santa hats on JJ and Ethel for our Christmas cards next year.

That would be great! Maybe Aurora could make a Santa suit for JJ! She makes aprons, she could make a red one with white fur trim & a black belt!

Honestly, if I started dressing up my birds my family would commit me! They were used to the chickens, but the turkeys are freaking them out!

So...I got this beautiful turkey ornament, a tub of dried meal worms, and a cute dish towel with a turkey on it. And Loz got an incubator. ...anybody else get any cool turkey/chicken stuff for Christmas?

I got an ammo box for keeping my extra shells in for hunting birds. MY wife got tired of the places I had them stored..



Yep, I am one of those guys, when I hear on the news someone was arrested with 2,000 rounds of ammunition, I wonder why he didn't have more.... Women collect shoes, I collect ammo......


Other than that I got nothing I can even connect to birds...


WAIT.. I got another wild bird feeder.... DW said I could replace one of my ugly ones, I said it was in addition to those I have. I win!

I got a chicken swing, and some toys for the chickens Totally love it - couldn't think of anything that I wanted in the gift exchange so I asked for stuff for the birds lol. I can't wait to install the swing - the chickens should love it. I may make one for the turkeys if the chickens use theirs (hopefully they catch on faster than the dirt bath that they still haven't used)

I could totally see us working together to make an awesome turkey calender! I think we should do it, for 2017

It's becoming a yearly thing now, since I've had chickens, that my parents get me a new chicken ornament every year. Eventually, my tree will be as overrun with chickens as my yard is lol. Maybe next year, I'll get a turkey one too

I agree with that too, we just never have money to buy any lol. My family all thinks I'm nuts for carrying a small gun in my purse at all times. I have a bigger one that I carry every now and then on my side but I feel weird when people can see it lol
