Man... is its rain ever going to let up? Feedman, are you getting this nonstop rain too? All kinds of flooding around St. Louis.

Have gotten about 2 inches of rain so far.
No flooding in my area yet.

Trying to make room in the incubators is easier said than done! I transferred my eggs that are due to hatch Friday-Sunday to my other incubator so I could set the turkey eggs.....I just BARELY had enough room to fit them in! I can forsee some crazy incubator shuffling going on until I manage to get a big one lol. Oh, and on top of that, hubby said to hatch as many turkey poults as I can, so I can sell them and pay off some bills lol. Here we go!

Strangely, my DH is the one that bought Turkules - I didn't want a turkey lol. He had grand plans of raising poults and selling them too..... then I named them and turned them into pets - and he's not allowed to sell or eat them

You have a whole lot better chance making money selling day old turkey poults than if you grow them out and then try to sell them.

This is true too.

I am finding in my neck of the woods, nothing dealing with poultry makes you money, it is just a matter of what you lose the least raising.
