A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

"Design element" sure, just make sure it doesn't become a "monument to all the crap I put up with from my spouse".

I understand what you're saying. I am the one that has to put up with crap.....Stuff.. and so on. I am the worlds most perfect husband.

I am perfect. It is no work for her at all to live with me, unlike me who has to work like crazy and push things aside to be able to live with her.

If I was a lesser man I would have thrown in the towel 40 years ago.

You really are a saint. Have you considered writing a book to help more husbands be like you?

My husband is actually rather tolerant of my hobby. I have a brooder and incubator in the bedroom with the headlamp on all night, the big incubator in the living room and a sick hen, lounging on the recliner in the living room at the moment.

Oh she's beautiful! You mean she just showed up in your yard? Any idea where she came from? Are you keeping her??

No, she was pacing the south side of my boundary fence and I opened the gate and let her in the yard. Once in the yard, she wanted in the coop so I opened the door and let her in and she immediately went to eating.

There is also a sign at the mailboxes saying that someone found a domestic black and white turkey.

I have a neighbor that has mixed Narragansett turkeys (probably 1/2 mile to the east) that had two dogs come in and kill three of his turkeys. He also lost two turkeys at the time. Since he was getting ready to fly to Texas for lung cancer surgery, he did not have time to hunt for the missing turkeys. I contacted him today and he thinks that the turkeys may be the ones he is missing. He gets to fly home tomorrow so it shouldn't be too long before he can tell whether or not the found turkeys are indeed his.

I will attempt to find the owner (might have already) but if I can't find the owner, I will sell her in the spring when people are looking for replacements for the ones that didn't make it.

LOL...love a turkey that will just belly up to the bar! She wanted in the coop and wanted dinner! She is lovely .....
