A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Its nuts how many different colors you guys can make! Any thought to adding a few Bourbon Red hens? Maybe Holm takes one of Ralph's toms to his place and adds a few Bourbons there.

Holm....your turkey should be named Clark....for Clark Kent....he's turning into a super turkey!!

I know Holm, but the only rusty slate I have is Ethel.  And I do not dare take her from JJ..

Can you imagine what she would say to me?

Even worse... What would she have the Creamettes do to you!!

I forgot she was your only one.

Ethel can be a force to be reckoned with!

This year I plan to do better, I will be raising the young under cover until they are 3/4 grown. I hope the eagles starve to death!

Did you see what he can have with the Blue red bronze?

A golden Narragansett sound cool.. but it is only a female one. We could have little Gingers though!

Also with the rusty Lavender he has some nice babies too..( poor Porter might as well join a monastery)..

I can't wait to see what you two end up with!

My Daisy is a lot like Ethel. I guess there is one in every flock. Daisy feels she's "entitled". Her routine, when I go out with them, is as follows: Play soccer or chase for about 10 minutes, then she watches me fooling around in the coops for about 10 minutes, then she starts bugging me (tugs on my clothes) to sit down so she can get petted for about 10 minutes. She's developed her routine.

I just wet out to gather eggs. I got two more frozen ones and 3 good ones.

Ethel was not in the coop, so I asked Ed where Ethel was. As I stepped out the coop and bumped into her coming in. I reached down and petted her and told her I was sorry, and didn't see her.

I am thinking she is not accepting my apology. I have to go get Creamette eggs now. I am a little afraid after the incident.
