A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Ralph...do you expect the rest of them to hatch today? Or is this an "early bird"?

Aurora/Chaos...just talked to my uncle in Hanover PA. He's getting 2-3 feet of snow. You guys getting any of this?

He is on time. They are suppose to hatch today. He must be a hard worker and a tad impatient. I was up at 2'ish and checked there were none pecked then at 5 he was here.

Not one other is even pipped. I sure hope they hatch, one Creamette rooster is not what I need or want.

How can you tell it's a he?
Wow, he did dig himself out quickly. It does amaze me how such little things have the strength to fight their way out of those shells!

No babies yet this morning for me but 1 egg is pipped :) I forgot that turkeys really like to take their good old time hatching. I haven't looked outside yet so I have no clue what we got. I'm just going to hibernate a bit longer.

Good luck on him/her getting out. Some of those slow hatchers drive me nuts, let them be or help them out. I never seem to get it right. 18 hours/ 24 hours? How long do you give them?,,, It is a killer, my DW has even less patience than me for them...

Did not know that about the Creamers.

Aurora...go talk to it. Seems they respond when they hear your voice! Maybe they will hurry!
