A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I'm still around just lurking in the shadows.

Enjoyed the read on how many babies have been hatched. I didn't have near that many 150 turkeys and 60 chickens. Trying to increase my quail thru incubation have 120 eggs cooking now.

Not much going on with my birds but eating and growing. I have 16 babies left I saved back. Looks like 5 are guaranteed males. One managed to get out a couple tried gobbles.

Memphis: glad to hear your healing in coming along well. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Jrnash: hens will strut.

Stephcraig: I can't tell much from pics. Need little better lighting.

Aurora: pebbles. She sounds determined again. What you gonna do with her?

Thanks for the well wishes folks. Hanging with my girls is a huge stress reliever. What is it about Bourbon Reds....Annie spent an hour inspecting the new brace. Daisy checked it out and was good. But you could just see Annie trying to figure the whole thing out.
Best wishes for you rapid return to good health.

This is 2 days after I allowed this hen to adopt the Sweetgrass poults. She had already adopted the 4 week old Bourbon Reds and Cream Legbars previously.

Stalking a fly and yes he did get it.

Very Ingenious R2ELK..

Jr. As previous mentioned "yes, they will.

We are back from Holm's. Mr T is beautiful! Way smaller than JJ and Sidekick but twice as pretty. I drove 400 miles to see a turkey, I am thinking have having a mental health Eval done.......I can not trust the WWD's judgment on this as she went with me.
