A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Yep.. 400 miles to see Mr T. I want him so badly. He is by far the best looking turkey I have ever seen.  Small but WOW!!

And it is a good thing my wife was with or I might have come home with 2 African Geese.

I LOVE African geese! I think they are just stunning birds. I'd love to have a couple but they're very few and fat between around here. Maybe eventually.

Glad you got to see Mr T in person finally. Heck of a long drive though. My RLS wouldn't handle that well lol

Oh, and orange tiger lilies grow everywhere around here. They're a summer favorite!

I need another hatcher.

The guineas are still hatching and I should have moved the turkey eggs that are to hatch tomorrow last night.

I opened the incubator to move them today and found I have done an Aurora again. I had on poult hatched on the bottom of the incubator and about 5 eggs pipped....... I got them moved now. I have to move the porter eggs soon too,

Ralph, this is probably a dumb question but I've been unable yo find the answer I'm looking for. Can you get NPIP on a mixed flock? Is the NPIP breed specific or will it cover all birds on the premises

At the swap yesterday, there was a cabinet bator there for $250. If I'd had money with me, I'd have bought it lol

How did that post twice?

The NPIP covers the premise and all birds on it,

Bringing in new birds is not a problem if they start from an NPIP flock. That is why Mr T is taking me so long and why there are so many hoops to jump. Holms is not NPIP. So bringing in Mr T is taking a lot of hoop jumping.
