A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Is it the same poult Sidekick adopted? Well my guess is Snitch is an Ethel daughter. Due to the "talking". Just my impression....

Hope Feisty is ok. Just saw a weather update....pretty rough in the Northwest.

The poult Sidekick adopted was killed mid summer. This is one of my last hatches I had 2 eggs in with the last batch of White sports I hatched. One did not hatch, this one did. It could be Ethel's I have no idea. It is a blue though.

Feisty, batten down the hatches!

Ralph - Snitch is beautiful, I'm hoping for a "she" :)

Well we had a nice lull in between systems today. Picked up some sheet roofing off the lawn yesterday, but everything else seems to be fine so far. Had power this morning, and it's holding so far. The second system is blowing in now and winds are picking up again. Just came in from checking on the birds and everything seems to be holding tight. Poor DH, I used his free weights to hold down a bunch of things outside :gig

Yeah, it blew over to me! The house is shaking with all the westerly winds you have sent our way! You can have it back, if you don't mind.

We are suppose to get 2 days of rain. I will be giving chicken and turkey baths in the rain.

I got blue into her show pen tonight. She is not a happy turkey. Tomorrow is bath day. I am assuming that will go badly.

I bathed the Tom when it was hot and I saw crawlers. I wanted to see if it would help. It did. He didn't like otuch, but my recommendation is to keep the water on the warm side, slightly warmer than your body temp, and they don't usually get so fussy. I used recycled cattle mineral licks tubs, which are large enough to handle even a fully grown Tom.
