A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Ralph- I have the same issue with Adam. When I tell them all to go to bed, he stands at the door defiantly, trying to chase everyone back out. I can't wait till I get a son from him so he can go to camp. When I did have him separated for his broken toe, Romeo calmly led everyone in to the coop in the evening, nice, neat, and orderly. I miss that.

If he keeps this up, he could find himself a stowaway on the Holm-mobile when he gets the girls.

Well Coco is still with us tonight. She still has her prolapse and she laid another freaking egg today. She's eating and drinking and doesn't seem to be in pain. I've tried all the recommended treatments so I'll follow Ralph's suggestion and let things go naturally. If she's suffering, I'll ask DH to give me a hand ending it. It's a rotten feeling to let nature run it's course, but I'll hope for the best. Thanks everyone for the encouragement and suggestions!

Ralph - your turkey bedtime stories always make me giggle :).

Aurora - I wish I could send you a bourbon boy, they are such sweethearts and they're pretty :D. Then you could have peace at bird bedtime lol.

feisty: how is Coco today?

had slowly dropping temps and wind today. it's now in the 20's. calling for single digit lows. I stayed huddled inside. don't care for the cold.

Don't think my birds liked it much either they stayed pretty much around the coops.

the weather person is calling for snow but hasn't made it here yet.

Feedman, was going to head to Ste. Genevieve this weekend until I saw the weather forecast. Brrr! Stay warm up there!

Wow! In the 20°s!

The high here today was 10°F and the current temperature is -18°F and dropping.

The turkeys all stayed in the coop most of the day but are outside on their roosts now.

Enjoy your heatwave.
