A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Big red Tom will even mount people if they are crouching low enough and it isn't my son, who for some reason he doesn't particularly like.

I know a man who has scars on both sides of his face because he had a tom mount his head while he was working on his turkey pen. It really is not a good thing to tolerate that type of behavior.

This one is sure giving you the stink eye!

When I looked closer at that picture I could see that it wasn't me that was getting the stink eye. The red head at the bottom of the picture is the head of his brother who in his opinion was far to close to him and the hens. That is who was getting the stink eye.

Heh heh, well you can definitely tell he's saying "don't take another step closer!"

I just got through transferring the midget whites from the outside brooder to a holding coop. The palms are going crazy trying to watch them. I figure after another month or so I will let them out to free range. They already fly like phesants!!

Swan would like to come help with inside stuff.

I now have a chicken in the house for a medical warm up.

went to take the birds fresh water and one must have decided it wanted out.

flew up to top of panels and slid down the gap between them. was hanging upside down.

her left leg was straight out behind her and her foot. doesn't work. been in house couple hour she finally bent leg at hock joint but foot still don't work. comb is purple I assume early stages of freezing or frostbite.

longest she could have been there was 4 hours max as that was last time I was over there.

I'll give her the night inside and see if foot improves.

Ralph I hope she'll be ok. Poor girl. Which breed is she?

Finnie, glad the inspector generals were supervising your DH.

I have to whine....didn't get above freezing today. Just miserable day. I know...most of you didn't get out of single digits....but our humidity is so high it just gets in your bones. R2elk...back me up on that!

Trying to put the finishing touches on Christmas. Will head north on Thursday for festivities with the family. Sure hope the weather behaves.
