A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Wow, I feel like I just read a whole novel.... that's what I get for being busy and getting a bit behind

Memphis - glad you survived the storms, and loved the pics of Annie that you posted a bit ago!

Aurora - get your camera busy....want to see pics of the babies snuggled in under mama.

Feedman - congrats on the poults!

Ralph - where are the baby pics, you have enough babies to keep us all in pictures??

Mountainbourbons - hope the feed solves the problems with the littles... sorry you're having losses :(

Had some sunshine here the last few days. I don't know why they love under my blackberries so much.... but happy, happy birds under there.

I've always wanted to catch this on video and kind of succeeded today. Big Bird likes you to walk "with" her while she scratches and eats grass. She gets overly engrossed in what she's eating and forgets to check if you are still with her. If you move away from her, she'll suddenly realize that you aren't there and she's "alone". Squawking and flapping follows while she zeros in on where you are

Fiesty! Good to hear you got some sun. My girls do the same thing when we go for walks. They have to be able to see me. Big Bird looks good, are you getting her another buddy?

Ow I want Pebbles with babies pictures! Aurora....seriously....why would she get off the nest? She has food & water within beaks reach plus all the babies to snuggle! Sounds like she's a happy girl!:D

Fishy!!! Here's your pictures!!!

I am so glad Auroradreams Autocorrect gave you that nickname, I just love it....

Because of the weather they are spending the night in the "basement" of the hatcher. But they look cozy in there. I have 18 in here.

I did as much I could today. I ordered some corid in case they show signs of coccidia and keep it in stalk just in case. I refreshed all the feed with as much protein as possible. And I refreshed all of the straw.

SO FRUSTRATED. I am sure that it is the coccidia now. Just lost 5 more chicks today and counting. NONE of the places around me have corid for medicine. I am going to loose my whole flock at this rate before I can order some in, I already lost a third. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT CAN HELP PLEASE. I hate this crap.
