Yipes... I just realized that if all the broody turkeys hatch eggs I'll be swamped!!

No cat problems yet this year.

Possums have started invading again. Have given some a permanent rehoming.

Owls will show in about a month.

Just finished a batch of Turkey's hatching. Have 72 in a brooders now. 2 batches left and done hatching Turkey's for the year.

Had my best hatch ever on quail set 118 eggs hatched 106 last night. The 12 that didn't hatch weren't fertile.

Every Turkey hen is now broody except the 2 that just hatched the chicken. They have not started laying again.

Need it to dry up some rain shower every couple days. Yards a jungle and garden is getting weedy.

Plus it's a muddy mess. But no castle with moat yet. But the river is high and starting to back the creeks up.

The answer to feral cats is more immigrants from the countries that eat cats....

They are the absolute best bait for coyotes that there is.

Between me and the coyotes the feral cat population here is at an all time low.
